Update on the “Coming Soon” GE Sailor Moon Figures
Remember the Sailor Moon & Tuxedo Mask figures GE showed us back in July and said they were “coming soon”? They were mostly well received and many collectors were super excited for them! Well tomorrow is already December (which marks 5 months), we haven’t heard a peep about them and they’re not even listed on the website so I decided to send them a quick tweet and see what’s going on. Here’s what I learned:
- GE is still working on improving their features
- delay is caused by better quality control
- release date: aiming for early next year (2013)
- will not be clam shell packaging
- if these 2 figures sell well, we can expect to see the other senshi
This is all great news, I’m glad they are improving on the prototypes and they’re open to making figures for the rest of the senshi. Fellow Moonie collectors, if we want to see the inner & outer senshi, you know what to do! ^_^ Read the rest of the conversation below:

It’s frustrating that you can’t walk into a Toys R Us or something like that and purchase the GE merchandise. I’ve only seen a few bits here and there at Hot Topic. Why do we not see these products on store shelves of most stores?????????
