Today was a HUGE Sailor Moon announcement day! On top of the new merchandise, the official trailer for Sailor Moon Crystal was unveiled! Watch below:

The song in the trailer is ‘Moon Pride’ sung by Momoiro Clover Z, written by Revo. It is confirmed to be the intro for Sailor Moon Crystal anime. The outro is confirmed to be 「月虹」 also sung by Momoiro Clover Z. You can now preorder the CD or CD+Blu-ray.

Both versions will come with First Press bonuses, but that hasn’t been announced yet. Both are scheduled for release in late July 2014.

    I really love the new anime style and think it is a refreshing addition to the Sailor Moon universe. I am glad to see it looks more like the manga this time and I am also glad to see they didn’t just regurgitate old character designs for the reboot. So excited for July!

    I wanted to know, when I order through the deputy service through premium japan for sailor moon products how come some of the items it tells me “theres a limit on this item from the seller so therefore we can’t place the order?” I tried ordering the newer pen set for saturn and pluto and its the third order any advice?

      Because for the pointers there’s a quantity limit of 5, so deputies can only order 5 total. They’ve used up their slots long time ago.

    i dont know how anyone can say this doesn’t look awesome, i am a huge fan of the original series, but i’m super excited to see it made this way =D

    I’m not too keen on the style choices. They’re so incredibly frail looking. I know it’s supposed to look more like the manga and it does. They were all quite thin in the manga as well, but something seems off. The proportions maybe? I can’t put my finger on it exactly.
