Sailor Moon Art Statue Action Figures by Legend Studio
After a long silence (2013: 1, 2, 3, 4) we finally have news on the Sailor Moon figures by Legend Studio! The series line is called “Art Statue Action Figures” and the figures were on display at the Singapore Toy, Game, and Comic Convention on September 6, 2014. Several of the prototypes were on display in colour while other ones with later release dates were still in the grey stage. Here are some of the legible release dates:
Sailor Moon: November 2014
Sailor Mercury: December 2014
Sailor Mars: January 2015
Sailor Venus: March 2015
Sailor Jupiter: Q2 2015
Sailor Pluto: Q3 2015
Sailor Uranus: Q3 2015
Sailor Saturn: Q2 2015 (tag says 2014 but I think that’s a typo since it’s past!)
Also exciting to see is that there will be accessories including Luna, Artemis, Silence Glaive, Garnet Rod, Space Sword and the Holy Grail! In addition each figure comes with its own stand. Prices are not known at this point. Stay tuned for more updates!

Um, So, Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Moon’s eyes are cute, and big, but All the others are, like, tiny and weird, especially Venus’s! I hope the change it! Also, where is Neptune?! Every Guardian EXCEPT Neptune?! Uranus WITHOUT Neptune….NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Has there been ANY news on a follow up figure in this line after sailor moon? Since she did come out awhile ago as of now…. I’m really glad they changed the face from the prototype paint job in these pics though lol :-p I really hope they do make the rest of this series though! I bet all the innner & outer senshi would look super good once officially completed since sailor moon did & I bet they would even come with different accessories than the Figuarts did so I’m curious to see what they would do w/ that, PLUS it’s all based on the S arc which is one of my favorites 🙂 I’ve been on the lookout for news on these Legend Studio ArtStatues for awhile now so if anyone hears or knows anything let me know, Especially if you know when ArtStatue 002 comes out haha (Mercury I’m guessing? Or super sailor moon crisis version? Idk…) PLEASE & THANK YOU! Anything is greatly appreciated!!! ^_^

These look really bad! the only one I probably would get would be super sailor moon. I would hope S.h. figuarts will sometime release a tuxedo mask, chibi moon, and pluto. And possibly Starlights, Princess Serenity, Queen Serenity, and Cosmos!!! =)

Hi! Q2 = April to June, Q3 = July to Sept, etc. It’s just the year split into 4 quarters.

I’m cautiously excited. The faces are on the painted prototypes aren’t very good. But the one on the unpainted Super moon looks alright.

Omg yesssss! I’m so excited! I love how they airbrushed these figures. I used to assemble Sailor Moon resin garage kits (gareki) and now that I’ve seen these figures all painted up, it makes me want to bust out my unfinished kits for assembly. Too bad my old airbrush is broken (needs a new needle!)
I wonder if they’ve been using 3D printing technology to create kit parts now? Seems like a great idea and makes me want a 3D printer. Lol.

I was really hoping for S.H. Figuarts release of Super Sailor Moon; I know these are just prototypes … however so far these do not appeal to me and seem a lot more chunky and less accurate when it comes to detail compared to the Figuarts. Here’s hoping we see a Super Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi Moon and maybe a Starlights release from Figurarts. >_<
