Sailor Moon Prism Compact Moonlight Memory Series 2015

Moonies..get your wallets out! A fourth item from the Sailor Moon Moonlight Memory Series is announced: the Prism compact from the first season of the anime. The Moonlight Memory series is made in reminiscence of the 90s toys, from the box packaging down to the toy itself. That’s why this Prism compact looks very similar to the old one with the fake nail polish bottle inside. Like the previously released Crystal Star and Cosmic Heart compacts, this one also has a mirror on the inside and small compartments to store tiny items like jewelry. The fake nail polish bottle cannot be removed. The Prism compact measures around 6.75cm x 6.75cm. It does not light up or play music.

This is scheduled for release in January 2015. The retail price is 4,860 yen. If you live in Japan you can preorder it directly from Premium Bandai. If you live outside Japan you’ll need a deputy service: step by step guide.

Using a deputy seems really confusing. I went to try and order something once and I chickened out because I was worried I’d go through the ordering process wrong 🙁 and I have missed out on so many items because of it.
I have looked at the step by step guide, but if anyone can dumb it down more, I feel so silly for asking. I like in the UK, can I still use “fromjapan” deputy service? I’ve tried to look through the website myself but it confuses me.

I’ve just ordered the Moon Brooch Necklace from SMC from the deputy service recommended on this site “From Japan” and it was really easy, especially when following the step by step guide. I’ll probably order this too, unless CDjapan or Jlist have it added to their site which they sometimes do.

    Omg!
I don’t speak English very well and I have tried to use a deputy service and I just can’t do it!!!!!! I’m going to die!!!!!!!

Oh my. It is so perfect. Too bad we have to go through a deputy service. Oh well, I am still buying it. I do want to warn fellow moonies about ebay. if you order a preorder item after the limit ebay and paypal allows you to file a claim with the seller you are pretty much screwed. I had purchased the swing set 4 back in may from an eBay seller because it wasn’t on jlist. When it was released a few weeks ago, the seller never even shipped it! There isn’t any thing I can do due to the order being back in may. Oh well, it was only $30…. just be careful out there!!! 🙂

        The seller was magicplush

they had pretty good feedback when I first ordered the item but after the last month or so they received negative feedback from other buyers saying they haven’t received their items either D=

Yeah, you do have to look out for those people. Often times, when those things happen, the account has been defunct and was hacked by someone. Taking advantage of the previous user’s good records, they offer really hard to find items and then close shop as soon as they sell their fake ads.

That happened to me once a long time ago when I tried to buy a Sailor Moon Starry Orgel. To my fortune, I noticed right away that the person suddenly closed shop and asked for a refund in time. -__- The emotional disappointment was a bugger though. I had been so happy and then… meh.

I pre ordered from magicplush too and the items aren’t out yet in Japan.. guess we have to wait, but why would a professional seller with good feedback scam us? it has indeed 0 items in the store but i think they are on a holiday so thats why they are not responding at this moment 😉

I’m pretty sure all of us know what preorder means. The thing with these situations however, is that we’ll wait, the release date comes and we receive no word. after a while we check their site to find their shop is closed up and cannot contact the person. Then ultimately, we realize we were duped when time passes and there is still no result.

There are people out there who take advantage of this stuff and as said in a previous reply, some sellers who have pristine reputations can close up shop and some hacker comes along, sees “free publicity”, steals the account and sets up shop under the account. Such people quickly appear, do their scam, get the money and then quickly close shop and disappear. Preordering is often a perfect means for such people because often times when the buyer finally catches on, it is far too late to do anything since Paypal only allows thirty days to file a complaint, when some preorders can come out months before release dates.

The item i ordered has been released over a month ago and I have yet to receive or get a response from the seller. I took my losses and ordered from someone else and I received the item right away. If you are a seller and there is a time that you are unable to ship or respond to your buyers, it is the seller’s responsibly to let the buyer be aware before hand. As unfair as it may seem, not every one is honest as we would like them to be.
