Sailor Moon Crystal Pads Feminine Hygiene Products

Sailor Moon Crystal is collaborating with Elis, a feminine hygiene products brand, again for more Sailor Moon Crystal pads! There are 6 different types from two product lines, you can find more information about that from this post.

The packaging design on these are based on the cameo style illustrations which feature the senshi’s side profiles. Also the barcodes on the packaging now have a pretty design too! These will be released starting August 1, 2015 in drugstores, supermarkets, etc. The retail price will vary between stores.

There is also a special campaign where you mail in an application with the barcode as proof of purchase for a chance to win prizes! The prizes are:

Sailor Mercury Wireless Box Speaker
Sailor Mars Room Lamp
Sailor Jupiter Room Shoes Set
Sailor Venus Ultrasonic Humidifier

Each prize will have 50 winners. The deadline to apply is Sept 30, 2015. The prizes are limited to Japan addresses only.

This is just weird…I can imagine toilet paper, but these? Do people in Japan really buy pads into adulthood? Even SM tampons would be weird…

Everyone has a different comfort level when using feminine hygiene products, don’t judge people who prefer to use pads rather than tampons even as adults. Besides, pads are the norm and is the preferred product to use in most of Asia. Tampons are the weird ones to them.
