Sailor Moon Crystal Sailor Mars Figuarts ZERO Figure
Here comes the official announcement of the Sailor Moon Crystal Sailor Mars Figuarts ZERO figure! She is the third figure in the series after Moon and Mercury. Parts of her outfit is in pearly paint, while other parts like her hair, brooch and base are clear to give it a beautiful finish. The figure is made in 1/10 scale and measures around 18cm tall not including the base. It is not poseable and it’s made of plastic. The retail price is 5,400 yen and it’s scheduled for release in June 2016.

Sailor Moon in this statue series was a lil disappointing…but whenever I see Mercury and Mars I can’t help myself but take another look. The colours and shiny pearl paint are quite mesmerising.

I was so disappointed with the quality of the Sailor Moon figure from this line. They should have had better quality control over painting at the very least for figures of this price point. I really loved the bases, but I don’t think I’ll be getting the others. Might just get the rest of the MegaHouse school uniforms instead.

As beautiful as the promo pictures loook, seeing the final “quality” the Sailor Moon of this line had (which was.. ahem…) I have lost all hope for these figures :/. Too bad, because the prototypes look really good.

Yesss, she was my favourite out of the designs released. I have the Moon one of this line sitting next to me and I’m in love with it. Going to preorder this ASAP, as I’ve done with Mercury.

It’s not just you, but I wouldn’t say its too short? More like her legs are a bit too long, which make the skirt seem short. She’s not too out of proportion (anime and all) but her upper legs could probably be shortened a smidge.

She is a beauty! I really don’t like the winking but gotta say her face is more beautiful than the first figure arts zero, though for the pose, I have to give to the fierce previous one.

I love her face and everything, but the pose is very Minako /Sailor Venus. I kind of wish Mars was doing something a little more sassy or fierce lol

I totally agree! I thought there was something about the expression when I saw it… but you got it spot on. It’s more of a mina expression than rei!

Everyone seems to have a lot of issues with the quality of Sailor Moon figure in this line, but I got mine and loved it. What were some of the issues other people have observed?

For me, I was a little disappointed because the final product looked quite different than the prototype photos. The prototype had fine sharp edges, like porcelain quality. I didn’t find the final product really matched up 🙁

Soooooooo cool!!! i really like the Sailor Moon Crystal Figuarts Zero, they are gorgeous! surely that crack on the neck is just the prototype, weird that they didn’t correct that :/ anyways i am looking forward to see Venus and Jupiter’s prototypes soon!!!
