WIRED f x Sailor Moon Collaboration Watch
Sailor Moon is collaborating with WIRED f on a beautiful watch to commemorate the 20th anniversary! WIRED f is owned by Seiko, a very well known watch company, their brand focuses specifically on feminine and fashionable watches that adult women can wear daily. This official Sailor Moon collaboration watch is a limited edition of 5,000. It is specially designed with a pink Crystal Star face and a crescent moon on the second hand. Around the clock face the glass is cut with frills for some extra twinkle. On the back, it is engraved with the 20th anniversary logo and the #/5000 for that specific watch. It will come packaged in a pretty pink box ready for display!
It comes in a choice of a champagne gold metal band or a pearl white leather band. The metal is stainless steel and the leather is cowhide. The metal band comes in Small (13.5cm), Medium (15.5cm), Large (18.5cm). The leather band fits 13.5cm to 17cm. The watch is quartz movement and is made in Japan. The retail price is 39,800 yen. for a watch that’s just a quartz movement… it shouldn’t have to cost that much. And coming from Seiko too, they have automatic watches with jewels that are cheaper than this.

Does it say anywhere, how big the face of the watch is…? I also wish it didn’t have “WIRED” printed on top, I know that it needs the branding but it kind of ruins it a bit for me. Regardless, this is still a beautiful watch, and its a hard decision to make given the amount of money :s haha

People pay around the same price for a generic looking (but nice) Michael Kors watch. You’re paying for a limited Sailor Moon watch so I think it’s well worth the price if you’re that big of a fan and want a watch. I already placed an order for one. I don’t own any watches or wear any, but I knew I had to get this once I saw it *_*

Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Sailor Moon and this is a gorgeous watch but c’mon!!! That is a little over $300 in US dollars, no one in this economy would pay that UNLESS they are gonna throw money away. Sailor Moon merch is just too expensive nowadays….

It’s comparaible to a Michael Kors watch which are usually around $420 CAD. Still, it’s excessive.
