Ok, this is so weird that nobody is ebaying the miniaturely tablet.
The event is almost done, and it was only ebayed once, for 80$, it actually sold, and was never ebayed again.
The other cookies from the event are being sold and bought some, just not the set that actually comes with a toy in it.
And in Japan they even sell it both online AND in the Isetan stores, yet none on Ebay >.<
I guess the deputy service is the only choice to get it now that the event is soon over.

I got mine this week, Sailor Mademoiselle. But I won’t ever be using From Japan again. They honestly wrote “Food” on the customs declaration. Importing “food” from Japan – after Fukushima – rung every alarm bell at the German customs office as they have very strict regulations. I was treated like a criminal for trying to import “food” – yes, we are talking about four cookies here. Tablet is gorgeous, though and I am so glad I didn’t miss out on it.

I took a picture of it arranged with some other merch; feel free to check it out: https://scontent.ftxl1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/t31.0-8/12916063_1034500193278603_5450859886951382376_o.jpg

Good luck getting yours! Keep us updated

Stefanie, that’s a gorgeous picture! The charm bracelet is something.
Pity you had a bad time receiving your order, good thing it ended well.)
Myself, I ended up harassing my middleman person to use a site more complicated than her usual Ebay, and I fear I may end up with the wrong set of cookies, but its very unlikely xD

Having my negative xperience with From Japan too…
        Order paid for: 2016-04-09
        Order purchased: 2016-04-11
Expected arrival date to FJ: 2016-05-09
That’s supposedly 28 days of shipping from Japan to Japan on the same island.
This kind of shipping time seems impossible so I suspect its From Japan delaying when they’ll have to return the money for an order they failed, so they could keep the money for an extra month.
        Seems like I lost my chance at the exclusive tablet ;_;
But maybe the “exclisive” bit is a joke too, seeing the Roppongi exhibition where they sell the “Isetan exclusive” cookies in piles too.

Before you start accusing FJ, perhaps you should take a look at the Isetan store listing which says (in red font):
          第五回販売期間:4月11日(月)午前10時~4月17日(日)午後8時
          第五回販売期間にご注文のお客さまは、4月29日(金)より発送を開始いたします。
It clearly states for orders placed Apr 11 – 17, Isetan will start shipping the orders out on Apr 29.
The reason for this is because the online store is currently out of stock. It’s your responsibility to see what you’re buying and read the fine print.

Well thanks for the info, maybe it’s not that hopeless yet for me, and I may yet get it.
It sure is convenient to know japanese enough to be able to just skim over a long page and see immedietly the 2 lines you needed.
But is it my responsibility to know japanese for when using a english language deputy service, and not theirs to write the correct status on my order instead of just stating “expected delivery date to FJ: 28 days after purchase”?
In that case it would be nice to put a disclaimer about it, like “do not use FJ if you don’t speak japanese”.
And “orders placed Apr 11-17”? When the last isetan event ended on Apr 14th? And on 29th they’ll restock to start selling them again?
So they keep selling the limited time event goods online even after the limited time event ends? Maybe there was to need to rush in getting them. lol

  • Sailor Mademoiselle

I want the candy case so much >.<
The format of a candy case included in a set of cookies sold on a limited time event is so intimidating, I'm afraid I'll lose the chance to buy it 🙁
Can someone suggest the best way to buy it from outside Japan?
Do I just wait until it's on Ebay and buy it then?
If not, then it's only that deputy service? It seems too complicated and intimidating 🙁

    • Stefanie

Sailor Mademoiselle, don’t go to Ebay for this; the [insert rude word here] there want 70-90$ for the heart macarons (I assume, by “candy case” you mean the heart macarons with the miniaturely tablet?). I ordered one box on fromjapan now for 3300 (excluding the system fees, shipping etc.).

      • Sailor Mademoiselle

I assume that one only cost so much because it’s the only offer ever, as the event only started 3 days ago.
That it’s there at all is a relief, so when other sellers get their sets delivered to them a few days later, there will be many offers on Ebay, more reasonably priced.
I can’t use a deputy service because I don’t even have a bank card that PayPal can accept, and FromJapan seems too complicated to ask a middleman to use for me.
But seeing they do sell these cookies on Ebay, there should be enough offers later, as this event lasts until mid April.

I hate how the Miniaturely Tablets, which started as high-quality-but-affordable items, have turned into a catch-them-all festival of overpriced recolours…

  • Dano

Sigh, not fair, i want that pink cosmic heart compact miniaturely tablet 🙁 but i don’t think they’ll be selling those on ebay
