Mistress 9 Pullip Sailor Moon Doll
The next Sailor Moon character to get a Pullip doll is a villain..Mistress 9! She marks the 22nd doll in this series. This Mistress 9 doll has a mysterious smile with a mysterious look with long black hair, mermaid skirt and pearl earrings. Pullip dolls are made in 1/6 scale, measuring at around 31cm tall. Their limbs are jointed so you can pose them in a variety of positions. Their eyes can also wink and move side to side. The Premium Bandai exclusive version comes with a background poster which will be released in October 2016.

I agree with the others, the rising price concerns me. I mean, Princess Serenity is a lot more intricate than this doll and she cost much less.

Love that they’re doing one of Mistress 9, but her face-up is so simple…. she doesn’t look evil at all. At least give her some of that wacko purple lipstick or something!

I also thought that at the beginning, but since I love Mistress 9 I bought her and in real she actually has a very mysterious look! These pictures don’t do justice!

I’m from the unpopular opinion, but I’m actually pleased they are doing her and have no hesitation in buying her later from a US seller. I do think they should have made her more evil and hair longer, but I think she’s lovely. I will probably mod her a little, I don’t think putting a black star on her forehead will be hard to do (though nice if they did it themselves in the first place of course!). That price will be more like $140 with US distributers for the regular release. Especially with the sucky yen conversion lately, it’s not worth it to buy from Japan sources unless you want an exclusive version badly. That backdrop poster is a ridiculous exclusive extra. I’d have given her a tairon crystal or something.

She is beautiful, but where is the mark on her forehead? And btw… A poster?! They could have added hotaru’s Crystal or something.. I love that Mistress 9 is now a pullip, I’ve been waiting long for this, but it seems like they didn’t do it with much care.. And this crazy price…

Pulip’s are insanely sparse on accessories. Sailor Moon was a huge exception in coming with the Moon Stick. Sailor Saturn and Pluto didn’t even include the Silence Glaive and Garnet Rod respectively.
I think at this price you should expect SOMETHING, whether it be a crystal or the Holy Grail, but it definitely does not happen in this line.

I really hate Pullip dolls; they’re just so ugly. I wish they would stop focusing on making sailor moon merch of them.

That’s a very rude thing to say. There are people that do love Pulips and, I for one, did not like them at all until they came out with Sailor Moon. I now have a couple of my favs and am hoping for Princess Kakyuu.

I love Pullip dolls! I think they are beautiful and much better than those 90 barbie looking dolls! These dolls have a lot of attention to detail and high quality!
At the beginning when I didn’t know them I actually thought they look a bit weird but once I saw them in real I realized how beautiful they actually are! Now I have almost a full collection!

In my opinion, I love Pullip dolls and didn’t like them either for a long time, till I saw a doll released that connected to something special within my childhood. I think many collectors may feel the same when looking at these dolls and I hope Pullip continues collaborating with Sailor Moon, for just a little while longer.
