Sailor Moon Pegasus Stallion Reve Accessories Case
Premium Bandai is finally coming out with a Stallion Reve item! This Sailor Moon Pegasus Stallion Reve Accessories Case looks very similar to the 90s toy, but this does not light up or play music. It measures 21cm tall so it’s a bit smaller than the 90s one. Since it is an accessories case, there’s a compartment to store 3 rings, and another one beneath that to store small items like earrings or necklaces. The two compartments are separated by a clear lid which has Sailor Chibimoon’s bow, a moon and roses. This item is very elegantly designed and will look nice displayed in any room.
The dimensions of the Stallion Reve is 21cm x 9cm x 9.2cm. It’s made of plastic. The retail price is 22,680 yen and it’s scheduled for release in January 2017. You can preorder it on Premium Bandai.
What do you guys think? I’m kind of shocked at the price tag. Why is this over $200? I don’t get it 🙁 If this is so expensive, what would it cost if they ever make a PROPLICA of the Stallion Reve?!

Wow. Just. Wow. I know Premium Bandai is a rip off to start with but this is crazy. $200 for plastic that doesn’t even do anything? Like I bought the room Fragrance chalice and I love it, even if it was a little pricy. But $200? I could catch up on my Sailor Moon DVD/blu ray set for that!

I am upset. I really wanted this item, even with it’s insane price, so I tried ordering it through From Japan. I had great luck in the past with them.
But I get this error code…
“The store has set a purchase restriction. As a consequence, we can’t order the item you requested.”
So does that mean I was too slow in ordering? And From Japan already reached it’s limit on how many they could obtain?
Or does this mean Bandai isn’t even allowing From Japan to purchase?

Yup. I wrote to From Japan, and they confirmed.
So I googled for Japan Proxy Service.
Treasure Japan and Goody Japan both popped up. I tried to search for reviews, couldn’t find anything bad. The commission rate looked about the same. So I went with Treasure Japan because the layout of the site is nicer. My order went through with that site. I just got a confirmation of placement order e-mail this morning. 🙂

Thank you very much for this info. I was getting the same problem with From Japan and now I know what happened. I registered myself at Treasure Japan only based on what you said and I also received a confirmation of placement order. Altho I have some doubts about it because the payment was so much faster than From Japan (and they don’t cancel orders) that I got the impression I was paying already something that they don’t even checked if it was available 🙁 Didn’t you get that impression?

They did this because they know the original toy sells for over 500 trust me guys they will end up lowering the price significantly once they see everybody’s reaction I think it’s just dumb to make these pointless toys such as the chalice paper clip holder

I agree with the rest! It’s beautiful, but the prices for some of the new merch is pretty ridiculous – not to mention unnecessarily hard to get! I’m going to just cross my fingers that the proplica isn’t so bad if they end up making it.

What a ridiculous price tag! I might’ve accepted it were this a Proplica (and even then I’d be highly doubtful about buying), but it’s not. 🙁 I’ve been waiting for Reve item like this to replace the cheaply made gashapon I have, but it looks like I’ll continue to keep it after all!

I’m guessing the proplica version (if they ever get to making one) might be more expensive than previous releases. The grail proplica was about $100, and the metal sunstar stationary grail was almost that much. The gel perfume grail holder was over $60 so let us hope that they make something else a little cheaper, and the proplica would be reasonable!

I’m equally as disappointed in this news! The price tag is SO ridiculous for something that is smaller and less impressive than the original 90s toy. And it’s not even a Proplica! I was already annoyed at this wave of “Premium Bandai Only” merch, but now they’re adding insult to injury with these prices. If they did a re-release of the 90s toys at decent prices, they wouldn’t believe how many they’d sell worldwide. Such a shame.

Maybe because of the price tag, they won’t make it x_X but then again, they did something similar with the first Holy Grail and ended up making a Proplica later, which I think was the same price or cheaper …
