Sailor Moon & Sailor Chibimoon Compact Cushions
Bandai is releasing more Sailor Moon cushions and this time they’re including Sailor Chibimoon too! There are three to collect: Transformation Brooch, Crisis Moon Compact, and Chibimoon Compact. In this collection they’ve increased the amount of shiny synthetic leather fabric used to up the sparkle level. These will for sure add a pop to your room!

$45 seems a little steep for such cheap looking cushions. I don’t know what sort of fabric they’re made of, but it looks low quality in the pictures, and their construction looks way off. I could understand asking $20, but these definitely aren’t nice enough for me to get any of them at that price.

sigh… And again the first brooch is miscolored, as it always is… The gem should have used that pale pink color from Chibimoon’s middle instead.
And I guess the Supers brooch foreshadows what intentional drawback its proplica will be given, same as the crystal star one, when the central gem is made so huge that thin circle surrounding it can’t be called “crescent” anymore. And it’s just not a Sailor Moon item to me if it doesnt have a crescent on it ;_; Oh well, they’ll probadly make it super huge anyway, so idc.
So far the biggest wonder is the 5th season wand, as the 90s toy was a perfect replica already. What will Proplica do to it to make it different? So far there’s been this element of obligatory miscoloring, as they switch reds for pinks and vise versa, so I guess there’s that. I just hope they do all this planning to release “original anime color” versions one day.
So yay fot new toys anyway!
