Sailor Moon Toys Merchandise We Want to See from Sailor Moon Crystal
It’s been a little over a week since the first episode of Sailor Moon Crystal aired and we still can’t get enough! This two week wait between episodes is brutal! So to help us pass some time, let’s talk about what toys and merchandise we want to see from the Sailor Moon Crystal anime! You know we’ll be seeing them soon! Give it a read and share what other items you’d like to see made!
Usagi’s Bedroom Decor:
- bunny snowglobe (next to her desk)
- bunny picture frame (on the top shelf)
- bunny bedsheets/blanket
Mamoru’s Accessories Set: imagine these packaged in a fancy black velvet box with a hinged lid
- pendant
- pocket watch (my hope is that this will be made of metal & actually functioning, I also hope we’ll get an updated version of the old anime star locket ;^;)
Sailor V game: it’s about time we got a new console game right?! and Usagi always has so much fun playing it!
Princess Serenity Jewelry Set: imagine these packaged together in a clear faceted glass case with pearlescent trimming, laid on top of a soft pink cushion!

Sailor Moon Accessories Set: this will be a complete set that comes with everything we’ll need to be Sailor Moon from the neck up! In this fantasy, everything is made with metal and high quality fabric

Sailor Moon’s Brooch: it’s been 20 years and we never got a brooch toy that’s manga accurate, we’re long overdue! I’m pretty confident we’ll see this made, do you guys think it’ll be electronic with lights/sounds or a non-electronic replica?
Moon Tiara Boomerang: my dream is for this to be made in thin sharp shiny metal and it must have that moon charm dangling so when it moves around it’ll make a metal ringing/slicing sound *being unrealistic since it’s probably not kid safe XD* oh, and can it light up like a halo too? *0*
Luna Plushie: I know I know, we already have 50 different Luna plushies over the years, but look how cute she is in Sailor Moon Crystal! Can we get one that will incorporate the :3 face and that cute little paw?!?!!
What do you guys think? I know most of these aren’t very realistic but a collector can dream right?! XD

There are two unofficial Sailor V games that are pretty fun. One for the pc and one for your phone. The one for the phone is a little more addictive imo, but I love both.

I want an accurate Sailor V Mirror!, the manga Kaleidoscopes Mamoru offers to Usa & Chibiusa and the tiny carillion/tink Pegasus gives ti Chib’s (still manga)

All I really want are proplicas of all the items in the anime. Like, let’s get all of the brooches, and all the senshi’s transformation pens. I’d be in heaven.
Also, I need a Sailormoon cover for my Mac. If it can use the Apple logo to make a little crescent moon shape, that would be even cooler.

I really hope they make Sailor Moon Crystal dolls, ones that look a lot like when they go 3d in the show. And I can’t wait for them to make Transformation Pens that work as functioning pens. After Episode 2 I was like, “I want Mercury’s pen sooo bad!” How cute was that pen. And Don’t get me started on Usagi’s Disguise pen, lol.

I would absolutely love to see some new dolls!
Licca have been doing some great things to magical girl characters with their Liccarize iine, so far they’ve recreated Madoka Magica characters and Card Captor Sakura – a Sailor Moon crystal set of dolls would be amazing!
I also second what every said about a new game, it’s been so long! It would be great to see a new platform or even a new RPG style game for more modern consoles such as the DS, imagine lauching attacks with a stylus!

You guys have some really cool ideas. I have an idea for the Sailor Dolls. In the past, their eyes have been painted on, so I was thinking that this time they should do sparkling glass eyes. i think it would make them stand out more. I also think that the scepters and wands should have lights and sounds for those kids(and adults) who want to believe they’re actually doing something with those things when they wave them around.

I’m glad tl see others took interests in Usagi’s bunny accessories, i loved her bunny snow globe! Her whole room is just perfect to me. 😀 hopefully they will mak merchandise based on it, fingers crossed!

I would like some wands/brooches that look accurate but are non-electronic AND are more suited for playing with. Make no mistake, the Proplica Moon Stick and upcoming Cutie Rod look gorgeous. I don’t have the Moon Stick, but I definitely plan on getting the Cutie Rod. It’s just they’re so expensive that I would feel guilty taking them out of the box to play with or pose for cosplay pics. Most collectors buy two for that purpose, but that just makes me feel even guiltier.
Plus if you want all the wands, it’d be far more budget-friendly to get a collector-type version of your favorite(s) and get additional less expensive play-friendly versions to complete the set.
I hope I’m not alone on that front and don’t sound too crazy.
And this is more relevant to later arcs of the Sailor Moon story, but I would love some life-size replicas of the Silence Glaive, Garnet Rod (with detachable orb), Aqua Mirror, and Space Sword. Though if the Silence Glaive were actually made to be life-like, it’d probably weigh upward of 200 lbs. It’s almost funny to watch Sailor Saturn lift it so effortlessly, since she must weigh about ninety pounds.
And of course I’d love to see more dolls. I’ve almost completed my SM doll collection, but there’s always room for more. I’m not really wild about the new Pullip. She’s cute, but her outfit looks like it’s made of plastic.
And whoa, Tuxedo Mask looks hot in Crystal. He’s quite handsome in the other iterations, but he’s drop-dead-gorgeous here.

I may be jumping the gun considering the show literally just started, but I would love to see more merchandise for side characters such as Pegasus, the Amazon Quartet, Dark Moon clan, etc..
I really wish they could find a way to market a lot of the new merchandise straight to the US and not just through amazon, jlist, via proxy and such. I feel like so much more would be available to a wider range of fans if such a thing was possible.

I’m lucky, I already have a fully functioning Pocketwatch similar to Tuxedo’s (except it’s silver which I think looks better but whatever).
I’d really love to see the Sailor V game, phone, computer, 3DS, ANYWHERE. I’d play that a thousand times at least!!
What I’m REALLY REALLY waiting for is more Proplica stuff, mainly the Holy Grail and the Spiral Heart Moon Rod.
And this two week thing is going to be the death of me for the next year. ToT
