Sailor Moon x Tyake Tyoke Shoes Fashion Collaboration
Here comes another Sailor Moon fashion collaboration..this time it’s with Tyake Tyoke! In this Sailor Moon x Tyake Tyoke collection there are six pairs of shoes, five are pumps and one is flats! For the pumps you can choose from Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus. Each one features their main colours and resembles their original designs. The retail price for these is 17,800 yen.
The sixth pair of shoes are Luna flats, these are black with a gold crescent moon on it, very classy! This pair costs a little less at 16,000 yen. All the shoes come in 8 sizes ranging from: 22cm, 22.5cm, 23cm, 23.5cm, 24cm, 24.5cm, 25cm, 25.5cm. These are scheduled for release in early September 2015. You’ll be able to preorder them on Premium Bandai or the SuperGroupies online store starting April 28.

I see the shoes available for preorder on Super Groupies, but I can’t buy them, because I can’t read Japanese! I don’t have a Japanese home address either, so I can’t even sign up to the site to order them. :(((( Does anyone know if Super Groupies even ships to the US? How does someone go about buying the shoes if they don’t live in Japan? Do we have to wait until some third-party seller puts them up on their cosplay website in September or something? :(((((

Wow! Thank you! Another question, would it be sensible to purchase the shoes before or after the release date in September? Like, if I ordered these shoes right now, would they really hold on to the order until September, and then ship it to me when it’s released? I’d just hate to place the order now, and then see that several months down the road, I get nothing back from what I paid! DX Again, thank you!

Yes they do, I’ve used the deputy site before for sailor moon merchandise. It’s a bit pricey but it does work and is very reliable. Just be aware there is a second charge you don’t pay upfront and read the rules. =D

Darn shoes sizes are way too small….. 25.5 is 7.5 in USA TT.TT if it’s narrow if it’s wide then it can go up to 8.0 :<

No, it’s not – I wear a 23.5 in Japanese shoes and a 7 in most USA brands. 🙂

It’d be awesome if the conversion rate ended up being $15, but it’s not (at least not for US dollars). 16,000 yen = $133. 37 US dollars, while 17, 800yen = $148.38 or $148.43 US dollars. These shoes are pretty pricey, 🙁

Start saving money now? It will be aprox $150 per pair so between $700-$800 USD for one of each style. I just want the sailor moon pair. Not sure I’m willing to spend that kind of money on them. Especially since I can’t try them on first.

Honestly, US shoe sizes are super random and variable from brand to brand.
Your Japanese shoe size is the length of your foot in centimetres. Just measure your foot! The first reply you got equates a 25.5 shoe with a US 9.5. I always wear a 25.5 shoe in Japanese sizes but I’ve owned US shoes that ranged in size from 8.5 to 10 and I usually need a 10 because US shoes are so stupidly narrow.

I wish they made them in bigger sizes……I have a size 11 foot which ends up being 26.7 cm :/ in the conversion shoe calculator I found.
