Sailor Pluto Pullip Doll Announced!
A lot of fans have been waiting for this..the Sailor Pluto Pullip doll is finally revealed! Sailor Pluto has distinctively darker skin, gorgeous red eyes and dark green hair. The doll measures around 31cm tall. Just like the previous Pullips, she can blink, move her eyes side to side, and her limbs are jointed so you can pose her any way you like. She is scheduled for release in late September 2015. The retail price is 17,000 yen. Stay tuned for more information and preorder links!

Yeah me too!! 🙁 I really wish they would keep her as dark as she is in the original manga. As someone with tanned skin, it was so nice to see a character a little bit like me.

I wasn’t sold on the idea of these until I saw one in real life. I’m not particularly keen on all the leathery fabric but they are seriously gorgeous dolls. For any Aussies, Kinokuniya in Sydney has Sailor Moon on display – incredibly overpriced but a great reference point for anyone on the fence.

I’m from Perth but I go to Sydney once a year to see my bestie and just LOVE Kinokuniya!! I adore their japanese book and magazine section but I think alot of their other stuff is very overpriced too. I saw the SH Figurats Zero of Sailor Moon and it was almost double I paid for it on a online store.

I know a lot of people hate Pullips but I am on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. I adore them. I love their cray cray SD features.
And I realllly hope they have a Garnet Rod for her, but seeing as how Uranus and Neptune didn’t get their Talismen either, I have a feeling they either won’t make them at all (meh!) or they will release them as a stupid Premium Bandai boxset or even individually to milk fans for $$$. D:
(Would be amazing yet insanely costly if they came out with a Garnet Rod Proplica that came in pieces you could assemble. I cosplayed Pluto recently and making that stuff was such a pain that I couldn’t get it finished in time so I just left it out and I felt naked without it, LOL!)

Well, going with the themes of school outfits they had for the other dolls, I’m guessing the Bandai premium is either her lab coat outfit, or her iconic purple suit.
`i`m hoping its not her rod – I mean, its her signature item and should be with her even on the standard release. It would be a dick move if it was released as a Bandai premium only.

These dolls are just too ugly for their price, they don’t even resemble the characters really and the leathery fuku is awful.

I agree! I thought i was alone in thinking that they looked abit ugly and freaky – especially for ~ $170AUD!!! I wish they’d do doll’s that looked like the 90’s ones abit more.

I agree with you as well. Thats why I am only truely interested in Serenity (I have) And Human Luna (hoping to get), because the outfits aren’t made out of that material… I really wish they would have used a different sort of fabric. /:
