Second Sailor Moon x BABY-G Watch Collaboration 2016
To prepare us Moonies for the next Sailor Moon x Isetan collaboration event, they are revealing the first collaboration item that will be available for sale. It’s a Sailor Moon x BABY-G watch. This is the second one in the series. The watch is mainly white with some navy blue and pink accents. When you turn on the backlight, a pink Sailor Moon silhouette appears. It comes with the same clear pink Crystal Star compact case as last time.
The retail price of the watch is 17,000 yen. It’s scheduled to release on March 16, 2016. You can preorder this on Isetan’s online shop starting March 2nd.
As for the rest of the Sailor Moon collaboration items that will be available at Isetan, we’ll have to wait for updates! The event will go from:
Tokyo: March 16 – 22
Nagoya: March 30 – Apr 5
Osaka: Apr 8 – 14

Been eyeing it on eBay for awhile actually I wonder if the price will go up or down depending on this new one….
Its a every day wear type watch, and they’ve made some other really pretty watches recently. I don’t get all the complaints lol

They could have done better. Should have made it pink and maybe some swarovski crystals as embellishments

This is sorta like a normal watch. The only thing that makes this really Sailor Moon themed, is the Crystal Star container

Looks kinda bland in design. It just looks like a regular baby-g watch they presented in a Sailor Moon themed gift box.

Ifit’s not a smart watch it’s not even really worth having (unless it’s antique or something). Everyone uses their phones these days. I’d like to see another planner and maybe some more purses.

I love SailorMoon and I am fond of Baby G (who didnt have one growing up in the 90s?!)
But, this is horrible. Other than the pink case there is nothing desirable about it (and not for that price either!). Married to the Mob edition and Johnny Cupcakes look good and I was hoping something similar to that and not the plain white generic watch like Madoka,, Hellz Bellz and Atmos.
Its a blank white watch that looks like something you would get for free in a happy meal. They should have made it in clear pinks and blues (like their transformation scenes) maybe added some glitter or silver butterflies like the super sailor moon transformation – make it actually look desirable and not so basic and bland!
