Sailor Moon Figuarts Mini Toy Figures by Bandai
Bandai’s Tamashii Nations is coming out with a new line of figures called ‘Figuarts Mini’. Kicking off the line is Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus. Figuarts Mini are chibi-style figures that bring the characters’ charm to the palm of your hand.
The figures measure around 9cm tall. The head, arms and legs can move so you can pose them differently. Each figure also comes with interchangeable arm parts.
The retail price is 2,420 yen each. The scheduled release date for Sailor Moon, Mercury and Mars is November 2019, while for Sailor Jupiter and Venus is December 2019.

What do you guys think about this new release? I think their faces are so cheery and adorable! Also the price point isn’t too bad. I hope the final product will look as cute as these images! And hopefully they’ll add Sailor Venus’ ankle straps by release time.

Just got this sailor moon today and she is ADORABLE! Though I do think the hair is a little orange-y, or maybe that’s just me. anyway…SHE IS JUST SO CUTE YES AND WOULD I WOULD RECOMMEND TO WHOEVER WANTS ONE AND I CAN’T WAIT TO GET MERCURY!!! Just also one last issue for me…she was $48!! I am so jealous to whoever got theirs for $25!! Though I guess since I’m in Australia the price SHOULD be a bit more expensive…though it would be cool to see this for $25 instead of $48…but I would still recommend this to those who are ok with the price! (if in countries where the price is this much) 🙂

So cute! But I’m not sure how to take the line name. Why call them “figuarts”? What happened to the actual figuarts?
Is this a typical line they do for every anime, and only now got to Sailor Moon, or is this a brand new line that wasnt there before?
Is the message behind calling it “figuarts”, “Sorry! we killed the main figuarts line for this series, so here is like our apology instead!”
Or is it like a promise? “Remember we had a line of Sailormoon toys called figuarts? Well support these babes, and we MAY bring that main line back too!”
Pains to think the most succesfull anime in the world killed its best toy line before it was done >.<
